Spotify May Bow to Pressure and Change Content and Conduct Policy for Artists - smithfoure1955
Earlier this month Spotify rolling out a new content and conduct insurance to clinch down on hateful content on the platform. Interestingly, the new policy also defined guidelines for artists and revealed that the platform would block off promoting artists who rent in out or keeping behavior in the real number world.
In a statement regarding the new policy changes, Spotify wrote:
"We don't censor placid because of an artist 's or creator's behavior, but we want our editorial decisions – what we prefer to political platform – to chew over our values…When an artist or creator does something that is especially evil or mean (for example, violence against children and sexual violence), it may affect the ways we crop with or support that artist or creator."

Rapper XXXTentacion's tracks were also pulled from Spotify's touristy Rap Caviar playlists, after a picture of the rapper assaulting a pregnant woman surfaced online.
